EGT’s football team has a new coach

Filip Filipov is the new coach of EGT’s football team. The training started at the beginning of January and he will take care of the preparation of the company’s second team as well.

 

Filip Filipov has a rich biography as an athlete and coach. He graduated from the National Sports Academy in Sofia and was a professional footballer in teams in Bulgaria, Thailand, the Maldives and the Philippines. He has numerous coaching certifications and licenses for football, futsal and beach soccer, as well as a number of achievements in these sports as a player and as a coach. He takes over EGT teams with the ambition to make them even better and take them to even higher positions in the tournaments they participate in.

 

“I am very glad that EGT trusted me and decided to give me the opportunity to work with their players,” said Filip Filipov on the occasion of his appointment. “I see a lot of potential in these boys and I am confident that together we will achieve great success.”

 

The captain of EGT’s first team Nikolay Georgiev also shared his positive expectations about working together with the new coach: “I believe we made the right choice with Filip Filipov. We are very happy with the training till the moment and we are going to show how far we’ve come in the tournaments we’ll be participating in throughout the year.”
